Son, it’s hard for you to believe I delight in who you are and all that you are, my son. Whatever shortcomings you may believe you have done does not reduce the extraordinary love I have for you. The evil one has planted thoughts into your head that you simply are unlovable. Nothing could be farther from the truth. My nature is redemption. I look at each of my sons and daughters through this lens. If you sin, all you must do is ask forgiveness (1Jn. 1:9). Remember what I said to my son Peter when he asked how often one must forgive? Seventy times seventy (Mt 18:22). Really, there is no limit to my forgiveness. It is always available to you. And remember, shame says you made a mistake and you ARE the mistake. Godly guilt means you failed but you are NOT a failure. We will all fail in this life. Learn from your failures my son. And know that I always look at you through the lens of who you are becoming just as I did with Gideon. He was not a warrior when we met, but that was his future. There is no such thing as perfection in a human being.

And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him, and said to him, “The Lordis with you, you mighty man of valor!” Judges 6:12

Let the Lord be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant. And my tongue shall speak of Your righteousness and Your praise all the day long. Ps 35:27b-28

“For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.” -Hebrews 4:12 According to research, the majority of Americans consider themselves Christians. (Seventy-six to eighty percent, respectively.) But, very few of us

Son, no matter what evil comes against you, I will use it for my glory and my purposes. When Pharaoh attacked my children I used him to demonstrate my power and my glory. But one thing you must learn. There is a time to wait and a time to move. Things must come into alignment

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” – Proverbs 3:5 This is one of the most quoted verses in the Bible related to gaining wisdom and direction from God. Yet I have never heard one teaching on this passage that teaches what I believe the psalmist is
